1. About these terms

cubemetrics.app (“cubemetrics”, “we”) is a speedcubing timer, solution walkthrough and alg trainer run from India. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for what happens on your account. One person, one account: creating extra accounts to get more free walkthroughs isn't allowed. Your profile ID is used to match payments to your account, so it's fine to share it in the upgrade form.

3. Free and Pro plans

The timer, stats and alg library are free. Walkthroughs, inspection practice and solve coaching are limited per day, with a higher limit on Pro. Current limits are on the Pro page. We may change features, limits or prices. If we do, we'll keep any Pro period you've already paid for at least as good as what you paid for, or refund the unused part.

4. Payments

• Pro is paid by UPI. After paying, you submit your profile ID and a screenshot of the transaction in the upgrade form. We activate Pro by hand after checking the payment, usually within a day.
• Pro lasts for the period you paid for and doesn't renew automatically.
• If we can't verify a payment we'll contact you. If we can't activate Pro for a payment you made, we'll refund it. Otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund.
• Submitting a fake or altered payment screenshot ends your Pro access and may close your account.

5. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site or call its APIs from scripts, get around plan limits, overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that do.

6. Content and intellectual property

The site, its software and its original text belong to cubemetrics. Your solve data stays yours, and you give us permission to store and process it to run the service. Alg statistics are partly derived from publicly shared solve reconstructions (such as reco.nz). Algorithms and notation themselves belong to the cubing community.

7. Disclaimer

Solutions, move counts, case names and coaching suggestions are computed automatically and may contain mistakes. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using cubemetrics and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breaking these terms. If we end a paid account for reasons other than a breach, we'll refund the unused part.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
